Taking up the lower floor of a striking Georgian house on the outskirts of Bushy Park — the second-largest of London's eight Royal Parks — this apartment feels at once both slightly rustic and completely at home in the twenty-first century. The period fireplace remains, but the rest of the interior has been completely renovated, with stark white walls, statement spotlights in the ceiling and chic tiling complete with underfloor heating.
Outside, there's a charming courtyard garden shared between residents in the building that has a lovely view of the surrounding parkland. In terms of location, guests benefit from the peace and quiet that comes with being slightly outside of the city, but a train will get you to Waterloo station in forty-five minutes. Similarly, Heathrow only takes twenty minutes to reach by car.
