Or, for something a little more genteel, there are independent shops, galleries and fabulous restaurants just a short drive away in the nearby villages.Back at home, we love the contemporary design aesthetic of this shepherd's hut, with copper and matt black accents letting the birch-clad interiors sing.

Your hosts are part of The Greener Camping Club and as part of your booking you will also receive a year-long membership . A tree will be planted for every guest that stays at the hut to help offset carbon footprints. You’ll share the wider garden grounds of the shepherd's hut with your hosts and their friendly three cats, two dogs, and chickens – if bringing pets with you, please ensure they are kept on a lead when in the main garden if they are reactive to any of these animals.
