Located on the southeastern edge of the gorgeous Peak District National Park, this stunning ten-bed Georgian mansion is secluded away within an acre of immaculately presented private gardens. With terraced lawns, cute courtyard spaces and a Big Green Egg barbecue, the ornate outdoor areas are perfectly set up for alfresco dining.
In fact, the gardens are noteworthy enough to have had an entire episode of BBC's Gardener's World devoted to them.The home packs in plenty of charm from the moment you enter its grand entrance hall, with eye-catching colourful tiles, an imposing fireplace and elegant antiques. It's a similar story throughout the rest of the ground floor, with the addition of wood panelling in the reading room, large bay windows overlooking the garden in the drawing room, and plenty of light and space beneath the beautiful vaulted ceiling in the kitchen.
Here, a large pine table sits up to ten adults or fourteen with children – perfect for large gatherings of friends and family.Upstairs houses the six bedrooms, each with its own unique atmosphere and no less lovely than the last. With a four-poster bed, freestanding tubs in the en-suites and double aspect windows overlooking the luscious gardens, the only dilemma will be which of the three en-suite double bedrooms or two twins to choose.
Finally, there's a bunk room that can accommodate four children. The ever-popular Peak District, England's oldest national park, is right on your doorstep. There are plenty of picturesque towns and villages to visit, plus rugged, windswept scenery to hike through or simply admire from a fireside armchair in one of its charming pubs.

Bedroom 5 can be set up in either a twin or super king-size double configuration. We'd recommend a car to explore the area – there's ample on-site parking and an EV charger. Child-friendly amenities such as a cot and highchair are available on request. The home can sleep a maximum of ten adults or up to a maximum of sixteen guests including four children and two infants. Fuel is supplied for the two wood-burning stoves and fireplace. Access the home via a private entrance.
