Once the home of the animals that worked the mill, this converted barn cottage has the air of a luxurious Scottish bothy. Home truths
The second bedroom is an open mezzanine area with a low ceiling above the kitchen. Those staying in the mezzanine sleeping are will have to access the bathroom through the main bedroom. Two additional guests can be accommodated on the sofa bed, but it would be a squeeze. The nearest shop is three miles away so having a car is recommended, and there is plenty of parking. There is a fast-flowing river in the grounds so children should be supervised. Some road noise can be heard from the A697 when sitting outside
