Also close by is Green Castle Woods – about a five-minute drive – which is perfect for afternoon strolls through ancient woodlands. Or, ten minutes in the opposite direction lies Carmarthen, believed to be the oldest town in Wales – head there for places to eat, drink and shop aplenty.

Bar the upper mezzanine level (where the snug area is), this cabin is completely wheelchair accessible, including a step-free path to the front door — all bedrooms and toilets are on the ground floor. The property might not be suitable for children under eight years old due to the close proximity to open ponds. There are two other homes on-site including the owner's house, but the grounds are designed so that your property is completely private from the others. There's free parking available on the premises – this is a rural spot, so you’ll need a car. The host can provide stairgates for little ones on request
