Home truths
There are chickens that wander the grounds, so any pets need to be discussed in advance. Your hosts have a couple of friendly dogs that like to greet guests. Alongside the bedrooms, there's space for up to four additional guests on a double sofa bed in the downstairs sitting room, plus two folding beds. Since the photos were taken a standalone shower has been added to the third bathroom. Your hosts stay in a bungalow on-site when the house is let – it's 400 yards from the house on the other side of the stable yard. This is a family home, so you may find some personal effects around the place. We'd recommend a car to explore the area – there's ample on-site parking. Access to the home is via a private entrance
