With walking trails leading out to the hills, and the coastal plains of Somerset Levels just a twenty-five-minute drive away, it offers excellent opportunities for exploring the southern countryside.
That said, we think you might be spending a lot of time at home. This wooden lodge might look understated, but the interiors are superbly stylish, modern, and playful. The golden patchwork sofa feels warm and homely, in perfect contrast to the sleek, grey kitchen. Floor-to-ceiling windows flood the home with light, bringing the outside in – and thanks to certain luxury features, your host has made the 'great outdoors' into the 'fabulous outdoors'.

This home is situated on a holiday lodge park, so you'll find other similar homes nearby. Due to the unfenced hot tub and steps, this home isn't suitable for small children and infants. You'll need a car to get around the area – the public transport is less than ideal – but you'll have a parking space for one car next to the home, and further parking on-site. To access the home, you'll need to be able to climb up the four steps of the porch to the front door. Your host does not provide haircare products like shampoo in the bathroom, so you'll need to bring your own along with you. As there are no laundry facilities in the home, it might not suit long-term stays
