With both an outdoor BBQ grill and a real working fireplace inside, it’s an ideal rural retreat in any season. The only noise disturbance is from birdsong, and maybe the odd tractor. The expansive garden rolls into beautiful countryside, and days here are best spent walking across the fields and down the canal for a pub lunch.
There are local attractions aplenty, with the Lichfield Cathedral, Garrick Theatre, and Kings Bromley Marina all a short drive away.

Home truths
Those with limited mobility might have some trouble accessing parts of the home – this is an old house, so some floors are uneven and the staircases are a little windy.. The garden is not enclosed so children and pets should be supervised at all times. There are plenty of walks surrounding this home, but a car would probably be useful if you’d like to go further afield – public transport is extremely limited in these parts.. The WiFi signal can be a bit patchy. Some of the ceilings in this traditional cottage (especially upstairs) are quite low. Parts of this home feel slightly tired
