To make the most of the vantage point, the open dining and living room is up on the top floor, so you can dine and recline with a sublime view – perfect with the wood-burner crackling away.
The covered balcony was made for sunny days and the ground-floor bedrooms have French windows leading to a cobbled patio and lawn. You can walk to the edge of Ullswater, or perhaps explore the winding roads on two wheels – bicycle storage is included.
