As you'd expect from a lighthouse cottage (built in 1680), this home has sea views from the private garden and the living space. We love that the bedroom has been formed from the circular base of the lighthouse tower (though the bathroom is back up the stairs off the living room). And the good news is this lighthouse doesn't have a fog signal, so you won't be woken in the middle of the night.
When you feel like exploring, a ten-minute stroll along the coastal path will take you to the North Norfolk town of Cromer, with its sandy beach and an array of shops and restaurants. Or for golf lovers, adjacent to the lighthouse is a golf course.

This home is one of two semi-detached cottages. . A complimentary starter pack contains fresh coffee, tea, sugar, milk and biscuits.. This is a heritage building with steep stairs and uneven floors.. There are stairs to the bedroom, and the bathroom is on another floor.. There's a very limited mobile signal here, but there is a telephone with an honesty box. Also, the wifi speed and availability cannot be guaranteed at this site.. Sorry, no barbecues are permitted.. The lighthouse and equipment need regular and sometimes emergency maintenance. Therefore visits by maintenance staff may occur during your stay.. There's free parking here. Access roads to the lighthouse site are narrow..
