This Norwegian log house is surrounded by the picturesque mountains around Fort William. It’s a short drive into the centre for shops, restaurants and cosy local pubs, but the main highlight of the area is the myriad of hiking and biking trails through the mountainous Highlands, including the iconic Ben Nevis.

One of the bedrooms has a double bed and a single, so we think it would best suit parents with a young child or three children sharing.. Four bedrooms and two bathrooms are located on the ground floor.. Your host can provide a cot, high chair and stair gates on request.. Your host provides logs for the wood-burning stove.. As this is a fairly remote location, having a car is recommended. There is private parking within the grounds for three cars, as well as secure bike storage.
