History of the hotel
Welbeck Manor and Golf Hotel is a country house rich in history, charm and beauty. Built by Isambard Kingdom Brunel in 1849, the manor has kept almost all of its original features, although its recent refurbishment under new ownership has uncloaked its true potential as an elegant and stylish location for a relaxing and luxurious getaway.
Previously known as ‘Blacklands' and rich in history, Welbeck Manor is filled with mystery and magic. Welbeck is locally famous for the gruesome murder of the lord of the manor by one of his servants in 1857. It's said, the fire poker that was used to murder him is now owned by local legend Freddy.
Dogs Policy
For those wanting to bring their four-legged furry friends, there are 4 pet-friendly Classic rooms on the lower ground floor.
Dogs cannot be accommodated in Premium Super King rooms.

Dogs are not allowed in the restaurant, but are allowed in the bar and terrace.
The dog charge is £20 per dog, per stay.
