Staff could not be more helpful. So welcoming as we arrived and willing to do anything for you. Would highly recommend anyone staying in Edinburgh to come here
"Perfect location for a city break in Edinburgh"
CH, Kent, stayed: March 2025

The hotel is located just outside the centre of EDINBURGH. The bus from the railway station is every 10mins during the day and takes less than 10mins to get there. The bus stop is just outside the hotel. We walked into Edinburgh every day using the riverside path which runs behind the hotel.
"Beautiful stay in Edinburgh"
Martha, Antwerp, stayed: November 2024

Our stay at The Roseate was the perfect end to our road trip around the Highlands. Very welcoming staff, who went the extra mile to help get us settled in and the building and rooms were beautiful! We especially liked the breakfast, large luxurious room and bathroom and the cosy interiors. The lunch was very good too; if we had stayed longer we definitely would have booked the restaurant for dinner too. Also great that the airport bus stops just outside! We'd love to visit again.
"Traditional Luxury Near the City"

We had a lovely few days at the Roseate. The staff were all welcoming and lovey and friendly. The food was also excellent. We used our food credit to have dinner in the restaurant on the last night and dinner was exceptionally good. The room was great and although at the front of the hotel we never had any issues with noise.
"Very Attentive Staff"

We stayed 5 nights at The Roseate in an executive room which was not in the hotel itself but was across the road in a separate building. This however did not retract from our stay and the room was very quiet and extremely comfortable. The breakfasts were all prepared to order and offered a huge choice. The only downside was the one evening meal we had which was overpriced.
