Whether you're looking for a light bite or full meal, a full Scottish breakfast or afternoon tea while you relax with the papers, the Ba' Bar is your first port of call. The elegantly laid-back all-day dining lounge and bar offers a seasonally changing menu of Modern Scottish dishes – from beloved haggis bonbons to hand-dived Orkney scallops – all crafted from the finest produce the Scottish Isles have to offer.
Afternoon Tea
Served in the Ba' Bar every day, afternoon tea is a delicious spread of freshly prepared sandwiches, cakes baked in the kitchen and fluffy scones slathered with locally made jam and Scottish cream. Wash it down with your choice from a selection of fine teas, a glass of champagne or raid their artisan gin selection and make it a Hendrick's G&Tea. They will even pop a slice of cucumber in the cup.
They are delighted to bring you a choice of teas selected forus by the Tea Lovers' Company. Founded in St Andrews in 2012, the company produces fine whole-leaf teas in biodegradable pyramid bags and passes all profits on to educational charities. The name thus the company's mission: to serve up a great cup of tea and give a little TLC to those who most need it.
Breakfast
Sweet or savoury, healthy or hearty – however you like to start your day, they deliver. The Ba' Bar and the Stroma Lounge's generous morning spread offers a help-yourself array of cereals, fresh fruit, juices and freshly baked breads and pastries. Scotland, of course, knows how to do breakfast and their Full Scottish is the talk of the town, with generous helpings of haggis, Ayrshire bacon, farm-sourced sausages and black pudding, and the best tattie scones this side of the Tay.
Join them in their little corner of the quiet and historic West End of Edinburgh at The Garden for a relaxed drink in their very own beer garden. Nestled on the steps and lawn, you will find the newest addition to the activity of our Orkney-inspired Victorian townhouses.
They have created, especially for you, this little hidden gem of an outdoor bar with curated collection of craft gins and whiskies and wines without forgetting the cocktails.
