Their comfortable bedrooms are furnished in country house style, including one renovated barns with two duplex suites overlooking the garden as well as nine newly designed courtyard rooms. Outside is just as restful. As well as exploring the many trails in the New Forest, the hotel has a delightful Gertrude Jekyll-inspired garden to explore, which features a fountain, croquet lawn as well as a kitchen garden. There are also plenty of attractions close by too including the grounds of Palace House at Beaulieu, Exbury Gardens and the village of Buckler's Hard.

Can you park at The Montagu Arms?
Complimentary car parking is available onsite at the rear of The Montagu Arms. Disabled spaces are located at the front of the hotel. If the car park is full, please ask for assistance at reception and a member of their team will be delighted to assist you.
There are six EV chargers. We recommend that you download the ProjectEV Pro app prior to arrival.
The charging cost is 50p per kw hour. There is no charge for staying connected once the charge has stopped, however guests are politely asked to only park in the EV bays whilst their car is charging and to kindly relocate to a standard space to allow other EVs to charge.
Is The Montagu Arms accessible for disabled guests?
There is a ramp at the entrance to Reception and the desk is low-level, making it easily accessible for guests using wheelchairs.
Within the main house, all bedrooms are on the first or second floor, and due to the Grade II listing of the building, there is not a lift at The Montagu Arms,
There are some ground-floor bedrooms located within the courtyard area at the top of the hotel garden. When accessing this area by foot from the hotel, there are numerous steps and uneven surfaces through the garden.
Cars can drive into the courtyard area to drop off, and once in the courtyard, the pathways are flat and suitable for wheelchair users. Courtyard rooms on one level, with walk-in showers, can be requested at the time of booking.
Can children stay at The Montagu Arms?
Children under the age of 16 years old, sharing a room with adults stay for free including breakfast.
Children aged eight years and over are welcome to have dinner in The Terrace Restaurant.
Children of all ages are welcome in Monty's Inn.
Does The Montagu Arms allow dogs?
The Montagu Arms is dog-friendly!
Their spacious gardens and stunning Hampshire countryside make it a perfect location for an incredible pet getaway.
Dogs are welcome throughout most areas (excluding The Terrace Restaurant). Your furry friends can join you in the Hayloft Suites, Courtyard Retreats, Courtyard Suite, and selected House Snugs.
It's requested that pets are kept on a lead when outside your bedroom. A one-off £30 charge per dog applies on top of your room rate and includes a dog hamper.
