Located high above the Tamar Valley with great views, The food (and view) from the restuarant was oustanding. Our stay was booked as part of a package and we stayed in a "Cosy Room" which was very confortable, but cosy. Next time we stay we will upgrade to a larger room if possible. Staff were friendly and helpfull. A great place to use as a base for exploring the local area, which is well worth a visit. We would definitely stay agian.

We enjoyed our 3 night stay very much. We had the taster menu one night which was excellent. Serving of breakfast on our first morning was very slow but it did improve. Couldn't fault our room and ensuite.

We had a lovely break, the food was excellent but very short on vegetables. We had the same menu on both evenings we were there, with a choice of 4 options. It would have been nice to have a change of menu on our second evening. However all in all it was a very pleasant break. Many thanks.

We were a little disappointed with the food it was not as good as we expected. The breakfast in particular was very poor. It s a Beautiful setting unfortunately when the weather is bad the lounge area isn t great,!the terrace is superb with beautiful views but sadly it wasn t warm enough to sit outside.
