We're committed to preserving the raw beauty of Cornwall's coastline. We've recently gone plastic straw free, and using a cardboard compactor saves an estimated 6-8 tonnes of landfill space every year.
History of the hotel
Steeped in history, The Headland has become one of Cornwall's most-loved hotels. A longstanding favourite with royal visitors including King George VI, we also found fame on the big screen. The most well known film made here on location is Roald Dahl's 'The Witches', during which Rowan Atkinson caused an epic flood!
Wet, sandy pooches are very welcome, as long as they're well behaved! In return for their best behaviour, we'll spoil them with a lovely welcome pack complete with a bowl, blanket, food, and yummy treats. There's also plenty of water bowls dotted around the hotel so they'll feel perfectly at home.
There's a small charge of £25 per dog, per night, (maximum 2 dogs per room), but it's worth it when you consider the fun you'll have together on the miles of sandy beaches! All rooms at the hotel are dog friendly. Dog-friendly all year round, Fistral Beach is right on our doorstep.
