A birthday celebration which met all expectations. A lovely choice of Inn/Hotel. A very comfortable bed in a cosy room and all bathroom requirements met.

The hotel was very warm, friendly staff, and a great location for visiting Chatsworth House. Food was very good especially the breakfast as they cooked my crispy bacon to perfection(not many places do!)Room was cosy with a nice view and lovely big shower.

Luxury break this certainly was not.. The room was miniscule and the evening meal was distinctly average. Sorry but I will not be returning and will certainly not believe the descriptions you put on your web site to describe other venues!!!

We decided to take a 2 night mini break at the Devonshire Arms, Pilsley. The location suited us and there is a lot to do in the area. Booking (and subsequent amendment) was handled very efficiently and we got great help from the staff. The price we paid was a little more than we might for a break, but we felt the Devonshire would offer superior experience.
