"Twixmas stay"

We recently had a lovely overnight stay at the hotel between Christmas and the New Year. The hotel is beautiful and you walk from straight out on to the high street. The staff were welcoming and our room clean and comfortable with everything we needed. The restaurant where we ate our evening meal was amazing, the evening waiting staff exceptional and the meal delicious. The breakfasts (both English and vegetarian ) was delicious (probably the best we have ever had in a hotel) with other options available and plenty of tea and coffee. The hotel was quiet during our stay but that suited us and it was decorated beautifully for Christmas. We will definately return and would 100% recommend a stay.

First impression was of a small car park. Booking in was simple, but as both of us are around the 80 age being provided with a room at the furthest and highest extremity of the hotel without a lift(3rd. floor) we were disappointed to be charged an extra fee to be moved to the ground floor. This room was fine, being a garden room, however the bathroom is very cramped with the toilet and basin being so tightly set together.

Had a lovely stay here for a romantic getaway. Such helpful staff and the hotel was so clean and comfortable. Food was amazing and great Chef! We will definitely come back again!
"Good but air conditioning noise in bedroom loud"

We had excellent staff, food good. Very noisy air conditioning got so bad we had to let reception know in the early hours. The night sleep was ruined.
