"Relaxing Break"

We were booked into the hotel for 4 nights but were given an upgrade to a 2 bed lodge (with hot tub) due to hotel being full for our stay which was unexpected! Our hotel package included breakfast with dinner on one night so we are in the restaurant. Food was excellent (large portions) but wine was, we feel, somewhat over-priced. Hotel and grounds are well-kept.and the staff are very helpful and.welcoming. We would recommend the Brackenborough for a special treat!

Didn't get off to great start - was not offered room upgrade even though it soon became apparent that the hotel wasn't very busy. Meal was lovely and bar/restaurant staff very friendly. When it came to paying bill our welcome drinks had not been taken off bill and I had to push to get it removed.
