The Bonham Hotel Edinburgh & The Lothians

I was hoping for a relaxing luxury weekend away from the hustle and bustle of life, but alas found mostly disappointment. The sneering of staff who looked down upon myself and my partner, often times doubtful and unhelpful made a black mark on an otherwise delightful stay. Highlights include the decor and presentation of the room, a delicious range of food and charming interiors. Nevertheless a few glaring flaws stood out, the most egregious of which was finding soiled underwear in the bedroom cupboard. Furthermore other guests seemed to be held in higher regard being offered little niceties by the staff who were slow to offer us the same. The parking facilities also seemed overpriced compared to hotels in a better location with more secure and convenient car parks. These flaws may have have overlooked had we received a the welcoming ambiance expected of such a establishment.

Stayed at Bonham hotel for 2 nights. Booked a junior suite which was a lovely room with terrific views from same. Every member of staff very pleasant and welcoming. Hotel decor lovely and nice bar area off of lobby. Breakfast cooked to order with plenty of choice. Hotel in quiet residential area but still near to many attractions of Edinburgh.

My husband and I enjoyed a last minute stay at the Bonham. A lovely hotel, gorgeous room and nice food.

Great rooms good location for us, the quality of the food was excellent but we marked it down a point due to the limited menu. The staff were very helpful and friendly, the hotel was clean and well maintained.

Booked the fabulous Bonham hotel in Edinburgh through off peak luxury.com who could not have been any more helpful and so easy to use. We have stayed in the Bonham s many times as it is such a fantastic hotel and in a great position for easy access to the rugby at Murrayfield. The hotel has had a major refurbishment and looks fantastic. The rooms are amazing and the restaurant food is unbelievable. Plus the staff cannot do enough to make your stay perfect. Would totally recommend this hotel to anyone. Thanks Bonham s
