"Disappointing double room but excellent restaurant & service."

When we arrived for a four day stay we were allocated a basic double room although we had paid for a premium plus.

From the moment we arrived our stay was as near to perfection as it is possible to hope for. Much of this was due to the kind attention , the friendliness and helpfulness of ALL the staff at all time.

Was wondering why we had a mat under the top end of the bed. Damaged carpet perhaps? Also charging hotel guests 20.00 each to use the spa for swim is unbelievable. We won t be coming back.

Very comfortable room although spa bath not working. Lovely view but small patio outside needed attention for safety reasons as did the ground immediately in front of the windows. Excellent food and wine and all staff extremely pleasant and helpful.
