This is the 3rd time I have stayed at Stonefield and would definitely recommend it. Lovely quiet setting for a complete getaway. Although the food was excellent, the variety of the menu was slightly limited for me this time, with the lack of vegetables as well but overall my stay was excellent.

Disappointed in the restaurant. Would have been better with bar menu , but not given the option. Had to return main course as fish was off . Not charged for main course BUT , it was an allowance within the cost . Room was nice but far too warm and unable to turn heating down . We had to wedge a bottle in the window to hold it open .

Lovely hotel, good location for us as we prefer to be in a quiet spot with lots of walks. Barnore Island is great and a trip to Saddell Abb y Uris worth it. Lacking in good eateries in Tarbert but may have been off season issue. The room was very comfortable and had everything we needed. Staff were delightful. Restaurant wasn t serving their usual menu which was a little lacklustre tbh but would still return!
