History of the hotel

Solberge Hall was built in 1824 by John Hutton, a wealthy local landowner and by all accounts - 'a real English country gentleman'.

The Hall still retains much of the character of when it was originally built and, as you look out over the exceptional Yorkshire views, you can understand why John Hutton made his home here.

Dogs Policy

The hotel has a limited number of pet friendly bedrooms which are available on request. These rooms are on the ground floor with direct access to the courtyard. Dogs are not permitted in the restaurant. Dogs are charged at £15 per dog per night.
