Shendish Manor has a great 19th century style (ask for a room in the original building ) and a helpful staff. It is conveniently located in extensive private grounds North of London . There is no pool/spa but it does have a good golf course, for those that want it.

Upon check in, we had to advise staff of the deal which included dinner and a late check out. They were not aware. The room was ok but water was turned off when we reached a few minutes after check in and we were not advised.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay; the staff were so helpful and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. The restaurant menu was small, but variety of food on offer was excellent Beautiful grounds to walk in, and of course the golf course available for those who played.

Lovely spacious twin aspect room with views over extensive beautifully maintained grounds, restaurant overlooks same aspect making breakfast an occasion every morning with the prospect of being able to eat outside during warmer weather. Staff very friendly and helpful. Quiet location with own golf course. Public areas pleasant and comfortable. Food excellent, one of the best burger patties I have ever tasted.

This is our 3rd stay at Shendish Manor. A little confusion re length of stay and room prepared as double instead of single. However, no problem - very quickly sorted by extremely efficient and friendly staff. Added bonus - beautiful wedding took place during our stay - happy days!
