Situated 25 miles North-West of Central London, the Hotel is in Apsley, just outside Hemel Hempstead and only a 5 minute drive from Junction 20 off the M25. What's more, with ample complimentary on-site parking, it is both easily accessible and convenient. With such a close proximity to the Capital, it benefits from excellent transport links. There is a local train station in Apsley that offers regular trains to London and is just a 3 minute taxi ride or a brief walk from the Hotel. For those flying in, Heathrow is less than a 30 minute drive away, or there's Luton Airport just over twenty minutes. The Hotel is located in 160 acres of scenic Hertfordshire countryside. Despite being on London's doorstep, the area is a natural haven of hedgerows, open fields and picturesque villages with plenty of opportunities for all kinds of outdoor pursuits. The Hotel also benefits from its close proximity to a range of famous attractions and tourist spots. Just over a 10 minute drive away is the fabulous Warner Bros. Studio Tour London, including the eagerly anticipated Harry Potter Tour. Here visitors can walk the famous cobbled streets of Diagon Alley, explore Dumbledore's Office and see some of the many iconic props and costumes from the films. For winter sports enthusiasts, The Snow Centre at Hemel Hempstead is designed to deliver the alpine conditions every skier and snowboarder dream of. With the largest indoor slope in the UK as well as a huge 160m main slope, it also offers a wide range of lessons and passes, making sure there's something for everyone regardless of ability. Hemel Hempstead is also home to the popular Leisure World, a large indoor leisure and entertainment complex. Featuring Aqua Splash (a swimming pool with slides and tubes), a cinema, ice-skating rink and a great range of restaurants it is sure to be a fun day out for the whole family to enjoy. More fun can be had at Gadebridge Park and Nature Reserve. It offers a great selection of activities, including crazy golf, 2 bowling greens, a skate park and giant chess and draughts as well as scenic walking and cycling paths.
