Full of character and mirroring the warm Tudor charm of the country house, 1530 offers a stylish and comfortable setting in which to enjoy some of the most exquisite food in the county.

Food is something that is very important to them at Seckford Hall, and they are proud of the fact that the 1530 Restaurant has been awarded 2 AA Rosettes. The talented chefs work closely with local suppliers to ensure that they use fresh, local produce on their menus, to ensure that the dishes they produce are packed with seasonal flavours.

They can cater for a variety of dietary requirements including vegetarian, vegan and gluten free. With regards to the afternoon tea, a gluten free version is available on request.

Please book all dining times in advance of arrival. On certain dates, dinner may be served in the bar area due to functions taking place in the restaurant.

In keeping with the tradition first begun by the 7th Duchess of Bedford in the mid 1800s, Seckford offers guests the refined and delicious delight of afternoon tea.

Their homemade scones, cakes, and indulgent clotted cream and preserves are complemented by a wide selection of Brodies Pyramid loose-leaf teas and infusions, for a first-class English experience.

They serve between 2pm and 5pm, and in addition to the traditional cream tea and afternoon tea platters they also offer special Prosecco or Champagne afternoon teas, to help you mark that supremely special occasion.
