Classic room
The Captain Oates rooms (Standard/Classic) are standard double, queen, king and twin rooms situated throughout the luxury hotel in Cornwall. They either have rear terrace garden views or slightly restricted views over the pool and gardens. They have a standard room on the ground floor for those who require level access.
They have carefully designed each room to be of the highest standard, fitted out with all you need for a comfortable stay. Find individually controlled central heating, TV, radio, hairdryer, beverage tray and ensuite bathroom just to start.
Each Captain Oates room has its own individual character, meaning that there is no such thing as a standard room. However, each is kitted out to make you the most comfortable during your stay.
Rooms are not serviced every day for longer stays they are serviced every 2 days. Although, please ask if you require any replenishments and the hotel will be happy to assist.
Superior room
The Joyce Nankivel rooms (Superior) are rather special. They each have their own unique Georgian character, are fairly spacious and have the same exceptional standard of comfort, facilities and design. All have lovely garden views.
All Joyce Nankivel rooms have a bath and shower, apart from rooms 3 and 22 which have a walk-in shower. At the disabled-friendly hotel in Cornwall some of the Joyce Nankivel rooms are situated on the ground floor for better access, they also have a lift to the other rooms.
All of the Joyce Nankivel rooms are equipped with the same excellent facilities that you would expect in a luxury hotel in Cornwall. Find a beverage tray with kettle, morning tea and coffee, digital TV, iron and ironing board, bathrobes, hairdryer and direct dial telephone.

John Ople suite
Step inside your own peaceful haven. A luxury king-sized sleigh bed A separate sitting room with TV and sofa to relax. The spacious fully tiled en-suite bathroom boasts a spa bath and its own opening sash window. The views are of a private grassy bank.
Capt Whitford Quarters
Captain Whitford Quarters is a characterful classic Georgian room. Natural daylight floods in through its 5 large sash windows which look south over the garden and west across to a pretty wooded hillside. Find a large king-size four poster bed perfect for lazy mornings. There is a sitting area where you can relax and an ensuite bathroom.
