Second visit to this boutique hotel in Devon and even better than the first visit. Made to feel special from the time you arrive and feel you could ask for anything you required. They are in the process of moving the bar area so can't wait to go back and see how that turns out. Food is excellent with great service all round. Close vicinity to Torquay and all the lovely beaches around with Maidencombe beach only a 10 minute walk away (but down a very steep hill!!!).

Iain, Somerset, stayed: March 2015 Recommend the Garden Suite which we had a 2 night stay in. Private, spacious and quiet. Lovely patio overlooking the garden with the added bonus of a Jacuzzi. Owners and staff friendly and helpful. Food was exceptional. All in all, a great place to stay

Anon, stayed: April 2015 We had a lovely 2 day break, staying in the garden room. The room was well appointed with private terrace, deck chairs and hot tub. Fantastic sea views, lovely gardens, good food and service. Very peaceful location.
