Only disappointment was the breakfast. Very limited fruit. No whole meal or seeded bread. No pot of tea or coffee. All food taken away at 9.30 which meant breakfast had to be rushed. On a romantic break, or just a break from routine, one does not want to be getting up by 8.

This was our second visit to manor of groves.we had a lovely time. The rooms were lovely and clean, also a very good size .we had a nice treatment at the spa.The swimming pool great. The only negative I could say that is when we went back to our room in the evening to shower the water was not very warm at all.we found it was fine in the morning though. The evening meal that was included in the price was very good value.i paid 5 suppliment for the steak and it was amazing ,I think the best I have ever tasted.Breakfast was good ,with a good selection.staff were polite and helpful.would definitely recommend this hotel for a relaxing weekend relaxing weekend break.

The dinner was very good as was the pool. However, the breakfast was poor, limited fruit one day and none the previous day. The cooked buffet was congealed and been there quite a time , the hotel was not busy and breakfast would have been better cooked to order. The hotel is quite faded.

The Georgian architecture adds a touch of elegance and charm that makes you feel like you've stepped into a grand estate.
