"Wonderful country house let down by restaurant"

The Mansion House is amazing - very much a stately home. We had a massive room with a wonderful view - apparently the room in which Hugh Grant hid in the Vanity amenity in "4 Weddings and a Funeral". Staff were helpful. When we asked for milk it was there within 5 minutes. Do make sure you upgrade to stay in the main house not the club house - that is 6 minutes walk away and that would have been a very different experience.

The staff at Luton Hoo went above and beyond to welcome me, my friend and my dog! The service was unbelievable. The room was gorgeous and they had thought of everything for the dog.OUr room had direct access to the outside garden! There was a bed, a toy, a towel, poo bags, 2 bowls and a massive bag of dog food. He was even allowed in the taxi they run between venues. It felt like a luxury break and very fitting to celebrate my friends 50th. The grounds are spectacular and the spa is very relaxing with not too many people when we were there! Highly recommended!

Surprisingly luxurious hotel set in beautiful grounds. A real escape from London. We would definitely stay again. Good for couples or a group of friends. Some beautiful art and architecture. The dinner restaurant was average and slow, despite the staff being attentive. However, the rest of the stay made up for this.
