Sea view in wonderful colour, stayed: August 2015
We had a very enjoyable stay at the lugger and can't speak highly enough of the friendly gentleman who was manning reception and the restaurant. He was so helpful. Even writing down the paint colours once we enquired as the room was so nicely decorated we will be copying the colours at home. Calming clean colours, perfect for a luxury retreat by the sea. Only negative was the paint smell in the room and the wasps outside.

The village, the adjacent slipway of the fishing boats and the views from the coastal paths added to the lovely setting. Two extra services I thought added value to the services provided. The provision of hot chocolate, a joke sheet and a weather forecast for the next day in your room each night and also, on checking out, a bag containing bottles of water and sweets. Both of these suggested thoughtfulness and consideration were a priority of the hotel. Could not beat watching a fishing boat launch at dawn on a beautiful sunny morning from beneath your window - magical!
