This was a very relaxing spa break- probably one of the best Lakes Spa Hotels we have stayed in . The outside spa was exceptional and we loved the outside pools and bar! The staff were friendly, welcoming and professional and the room was spacious and comfortable,

We had planned a romantic night away to celebrate my wife's birthday but (except for the thermal journey in the Spa) it was all a bit so-so. Nothing horrible, just a bit run of the mill (room, food, layout of the hotel) where we had expected something quite exceptional. I'm also not sure that the admin systems (off-peak luxury - spa - hotel) join up very well at all, so maybe we'll try another route next time and see a better match between expectation & reality.

Low Wood Bay is a 10/10, we absolutely loved our stay here and would definitely return. Staff were so helpful and accommodating. The atmosphere was lovely and we felt right at home. We would also say it s one of the nicest spa experiences we have had, with bar services bringing you your drinks whilst you re relaxing in the infinity pools. Beautiful place at an excellent price.
