Please be advised that there is a charge of £25.00 per person (£35 on Saturdays) to use the spa facilities for a four hour slot, this must be booked directly with the spa before arrival and paid for directly with the hotel. Treatments incur an additional cost and should be booked directly with the spa before arrival. Use of the spa facilities is for those aged 16 and over only.

The hotel has 2 accessible bedrooms suitable for wheelchair users situated on the first floor with step free access once in the hotel (2 small steps to the entrance, there is a portable ramp). The en-suite bathrooms of the 2 accessible bedrooms all have a level entry shower with handrails fitted throughout e.g. shower and toilet.
The hotel has a lift.
Children ages 2-15 sharing a room with 2 full paying adults will be charged a maximum of £25.00 per child per night. This rate includes breakfast. All children's evening meals are charged as taken from either the children's menu or the restaurant menu. Family suites are available, please contact our team directly and they will be happy to check availability.
Children under 16 cannot use the Spa facilities.
History of the hotel
The main part of the hotel was purpose built in 1870, but there is reference to a pub on site as early as 1795.
Dogs are welcome in most bedrooms, the library and side lounge, and there is outdoor walking space to exercise your canine companion. Dog baskets and bowls are available on request.
Dogs are charged at £10 per dog per night, maximum of 2 dogs per room.
