Free car park for residents
The main public areas of the ground floor, including reception, public bar, conference rooms and lounges, are level throughout. The Restaurant and public toilets are linked to the other public areas via four steps, a hand rail is provided on one side, and the steps are 1m wide.
There is a lift to the two upper floors from reception. It has an entrance door 750 mm in width, with a depth of 1m. The operating buttons are situated 1.4 m from the floor, and would be behind any wheelchair user once they had entered the lift.
Executive Double or Twin rooms will accommodate up to two children, additional beds or cots are available at £20 each.
There is a Mini Suite is suitable for a family of up to four. It consists of a double bedroom, and a separate room with two pullout sofa beds for children under 12 years old (charged at £20 each bed and breakfast).
The hotel is surrounded by 20 acres of immaculate lawns, majestic specimen trees, a stunning walled kitchen garden, a helipad, a lake and fountain, and the 16th century St Bridget's Church.
History of the hotel
The hotel is built in William and Mary style, and is grade II listed, with many of the original features preserved.
Dogs are welcome at £ 10 per night in all bedrooms and all public areas excluding the Restaurant
