Facilities at Lansdowne Hotel

There are 5 Lounges areas as well as the Regency Bar and Devonshire Restaurant.   These comfortable lounges, some of them facing the sea, are ideal for Coffee Mornings, Afternoon Teas, pre-lunch/dinner drinks, bar lunches or just relax with your favourite drink after dinner.

One of the smaller lounges is Pet Friendly so if you don't want to leave your favourite furry friend at home, then you can relax with your dog in the lounge. They will even set up a table so you can enjoy breakfast, lunch or dinner with them! 

Refurbishment

They continually maintain their large building to a high standard. With 102 rooms there is always something to do! They will always make guests aware if there is anything we feel that they should know regarding the maintenance program and always endeavour to make sure that it does not impinge on guests' experience. 

The Lawns, Martello Room and small lounge have been refurbished as have our lower ground function rooms and we have no doubt that you will think they look stunning - perfect for your special event. 

In 2017 they started a refurbishment program of our bedrooms, the main thing being the renewal of our plumbing system and boilers to give us a much more efficient system with much better water pressure. We will also be doing a lot of bathroom refurbishment.

They have replaced the seating in the foyer and renovated the reception desk and I am sure you will think it looks as fantastic as they do! We have a lovely refurbished lounge with a montage of pictures as an ode to the family of the hotel, past and present. It has a Gentleman's club feel about it and is a place where you can sit and read or play a game of chess or simply just have a few drinks! 

One of the main lounges - the Cuckmere lounge has recently been refurbished and so far the comments have been that it has a luxurious and glamourous feel about it. They are imminently going to redecorate the bar.
