Great staff but needs the whole building to be demolished and rebuild. Very 1960's styling - very dated

The only disappointment we had was we had booked a superior room with a "harbour view". You couldn't see the harbour unless you could stand on the flat roof outside the window. We had paid an upgrade for this room. We discussed the ambiguous description and that we were disappointed. Based upon our other OPL hotels that we have previously stayed in the hotel was not quite we were expecting. Large hotel, in need of continued modernisation and refurbishing even though some work has been done. Room basic, bathroom nicely fitted lacked little touches such as biscuits in the room, no robes or slippers.

Hotel overlooks Langstone and Emsworth across the estuary from Hayling Island. It is on a truly lovely site nearby to a Marina with good views especially from the dining room.

We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel, I booked an assessable room which was lovely but the walk in shower was a disappointment, it didn t affect me very much thank goodness, but there were No rails on the walls at all or even a fold down seat for a wheelchair user. I did mention it to the staff when we were leaving , I am thinking about other disable people that would use the room. The food at the hotel was excellent and would definitely like to visit the hotel again. The area around Hayling Island is very picturesque.
