Have been regular visitors to Hotel Rendevous for many years and have always enjoyed our stay.

We had a lovely weekend at the rendezvous. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. All the communal areas such as restaurant, bar and lounge are lovely. There was entertainment on on the Saturday night which we thought was a great touch and had a lovely atmosphere. Our room while clean, spacious and comfortable could do with an update, decor was a little tired. Having said that we had a fab time.

We were checked in quickly. Room was absolutely freezing had to keep coats on. Had looked at menu online & scanned code in room. Presented a completely different menu in the restaurant so opted to go to the bar where we were told we would get the menu we had seen. We didn t, we were again presented with a completely different menu but by this time just wanted to eat. Ordered the tempura prawns but unfortunately didn t get a knife & fork to eat them with so after waiting 10 minutes decided to just eat with our fingers. Mains, chicken was far too over cooked, gammon was nice but no salad or presentation. Room slightly warmer when we returned. Breakfast was good.
