Good location about a mile and outside town centre. Reception friendly and helpful. Room basic and dated, but clean with all required facilities. Housekeeping good, and helpful. Canal view room worth having, with great views across countryside. Restaurant ok, limited choice menu with no steak or fish available on the night we ate in. Food was good, buffet breakfast excellent. Nice 20 minute walk along canal tow path to town.
