"Perfect Location"

We booked The Hotel du Vin for it's central location in Cambridge and we were not disappointed. Our welcome by the reception staff and their efficiency was really good, our receptionist could not have done more for us. Our room was really lovely and spacious. We had booked our first night for dinner in the hotel. We so enjoyed our meal with the interesting menu we cancelled our second night booking at another venue and ate again at the hotel. The breakfast menu was lovely and varied with freshly cooked food and wonderful continental choice. A truly wonderful break.

Staff didn t understand how a booking via Off Peak Luxury actually worked. The Hotel took additional payment for our stay but did not tell us or give a receipt when we checked out. Contacted Off Peak Luxury who were helpful and arranged for payment to be refunded by Hotel. Breakfast was included in our booking and we needed to be away promptly but after 20 minutes no restaurant staff had arrived just a young lady from reception trying her absolute best. We decided to have breakfast at a local cafe which was actually much quicker.
