We stressed that we needed accessible amenities.There were 4 steep steps to get to the restaurant with a wheelchair that was impossible so we had to go out along 30 yards then along a gravel path and then a very uneven path to the restaurant. The next night because of our difficulties they put us in a small room on our own so no atmosphere and no service then the next night they put us in reception by the check in deskThe room was not what we would call accessible as there was no seat in the shower and the doors didn t open easily in an emergency. We had specific requests when we booked and on all our previous bookings everything was perfect.This was a complete disaster !!! We were thoroughly disappointed and will think very seriously about any future bookings

Holdsworth house is so attractive, very nicely furnished in a pleasing comfortable and tasteful fashion.

Fabulous stay as ever. We have been returning to this hotel again and again. We think it is one of the most comfortable hotels we have stayed in and always feel at home there. The staff are great. Every meal we have eaten there has been excellent. Not for people who are searching glitzy glamour and gimmicks but a consistent excellence in their service, friendliness and quality. Great for people who like their hotels with a history. We look forward to the next visit.
