The Grand at Eastbourne was already a favourite place of ours - for splendid lunches in the lounge. Our first overnight stay confirmed every good impression. The outstanding contribution to that was the quality of the staff service at every level. Each one who dealt with us was not only efficient but also entirely approachable in style making the ambience consistently welcoming. Noticeably, that was achieved without much trace of the usual superior air found in traditional head waiters for instance. As someone who spent half a lifetime working in the fields of organisation management and leadership that whole effect speaks volumes for those who lead, support and develop the staff at the Grand. Thank you all for one of our best ever anniversaries.

3star hotel at 5star price. A bit outdated. Good getaway on beach front. Good for couples. Look out for special offers with dinner, breakfast, chocolates and bottle of Champagne within price.
