"Luxury-on-Sea"

Stayed one night on a 'Romantic Holiday Break'. Chilled Champagne and luxury chocolates in the room, rose petals on the bed, beautifully cooked evening meal in the restaurant, Breakfast was slightly disappointing as there was a large group staying and the staff were rushed off their feet. Overall, however, a wonderful holiday in a great location.

"Junior suites should have a king size bed"

The room was dated, tired and did not deserve its junior suite status. The bed was 4 foot 6 inches, the carpet tucked and TV positioning unfathomable in front of a picture. One suspects this room is reserved to make them feel as if the guest is receiving an upgrade

3 nights staying at the Grand hotel was a wonderful Christmas break. From the 1st greeting everything worked well, the whole team were always welcoming and gave eye contact with their greetings. Food was excellent and flavoursome with good quality service to match. Our room while small was of good standard, nice linen and towels. The window blind let the ambiance down. However the room was spotless with an excellent bathroom.
