I had an excellent stay with my partner.The room was comfortable and the restaurant was excellent.Everyone was very helpful and welcoming.

We had the most beautiful stay here, an absolute diamond of a birthday treat. Romance, gorgeous setting, perfect as a wedding venue and the food both at dinner and breakfast were equally wonderful. The staff couldn t do more And even amongst a heavy influx of guests at breakfast with a tiny wait did not spoil what was a truly lovely stay at Gorse Hill. We will certainly be back and recommend to all our friends and family.

On arrival, had to hunt round for a receptionist. As it was an anniversary break I had emailed and asked for a nice but quiet room with a bath. It appeared the email wasn't presented as the receptionist had no idea and gave the first room on the system. I asked to be moved and this was done. With the usual apologies.
