Great Place to Relax and Listen to the Waves
stayed: January 2025
Booked a 3-night spa break for my husband and I. It was everything we wanted in a relaxing break. Spa treatments (although more expensive than the norm) were just amazing. My husband had a 2 hour Raindrop Therapy which he thoroughly enjoyed, and my 90 minute body scrub with massage was equally relaxing. Food was 'pretty' but plentiful and very tasty. The menu is only changed each season and has a limited selection of dishes to choose from, if you were staying for any length of time, you might find it repetitive. Staff are very friendly and welcoming - nothing too much trouble.
Niggles (although didn't detract from the enjoyment of our stay:
Shower curtain in bathroom was way too long and you ended up standing on it while showering, a trip hazard if you are less steady on your feet.
Fridge broken on room and didn't get fixed despite reminders.
Our package was dinner/bed/breakfast however, we were charged for the side dishes we ordered at dinner. There was no mention of this when we booked - slightly disappointing.
Service charge automatically added to the bill. We would have happily paid a service charge, however it would have been better if we were asked about our stay and if we would like a service charge added to the bill. Small thing I know but it could have been handled better.
Fistral beach is in a beautiful area with great walks and some stunning views. Listening to the waves crash against the rocks in the night was just bliss. We will be back!!
