We had a stay last week, with our 2 Cavalier King Charles Spaniels, and we found the hotel very comfortable.

The room was very nice & we received a doggy welcome pack consisting of some food & there were bowls in the room for him to use. The only drawbacks were that some men's underpants had been left behind the bathroom door, which a staff member took away promptly, & the bed was a bit too hard for both of us. I had to take the pillows off the sofa to lie on in the bed & my husband just had to suffer. The grounds were lovely to walk the dog around & the staff accommodated us so that we could have the dog with us for afternoon tea, which was very pleasant. The staff were very helpful & friendly. The breakfast was very slow on the morning we checked out, not sure if they needed a few more staff, but overall it was a nice enough stay, just a few little things, that could easily be fixed, let it down slightly.

The date was meaningful to us as a family. The venue nostalgic, having been brought up in the near-by town of Lampeter. However, the weather was unpredictable and had snow in the offing, which became significant to our prolonged stay at this country hotel.

Very enjoyable stay. Friendly and welcoming staff. Excellent choice of breakfast , both cooked and continental, beautifully served with smiley face on my porridge. Thank you. Restaurant food excellent , just a bit disappointed we ate at the bar area rather than the lovely setting of the restaurant. Also don't like the idea of big dog welcome in guest bedroom.
