Excellent hotel. First impressions are incredible driving up the long drive. Lovely receptionist, who was most helpful. Lovely room overlooking the gardens.

Very nice stay. Only thing that let you down is that the barrier didn't open when we came back at night and no one answered the phone when we called. Me and my partner had to walk in the freezing cold and pitch black at 4am.

We enjoyed our stay, the hotel is lovely and the grounds are beautiful, was great to have access to the gym as well. The food was good but we were disappointed with the service, staff in restaurant for dinner and breakfast were unfriendly, maybe understaffed. However staff at reception were lovely.
