At Dunkeld House Hotel they locally source produce. Perthshire is renowned for its delicious game, salmon, and local vegetables and fruits. The chefs then transform the produce into mouth-watering, seasonal, and creative dishes.

A welcome stop for coffee in the morning, a lunchtime snack or drinks. This has to be the heart of the hotel. Featuring a fantastic range of malt whisky, craft gins, draught and bottled beers and lagers, and all of your favourite premium spirits and mixers we have a well-stocked selection for you to choose from. Our wine selection is a fabulous choice of old world and new world with excellent options for all budgets and tastes.
The Lounge serves food throughout the day, offering snacks and light meals. With relaxing sofas, log fires and views across the gardens and river this is the perfect place to spend a lazy afternoon while you watch the world go by.

Afternoon Tea is the ultimate indulgence, made famous by Anna, the seventh Duchess of Bedford, in the year 1840.
The Duchess would find herself hungry around four o'clock in the afternoon due to the long period between lunch and the fashionably late dinner which was usually served around 8pm. She began to request a tray of tea, bread and butter, and cake be brought to her room and after a while, this habit became so relaxing and indulgent that she invited the other ladies of the area to join her.
Today, at Dunkeld House Hotel, they have upheld this ritual and serve their Afternoon Tea in the traditional manner of dainty sandwiches, sweet treats, small savouries and pots of piping hot tea. Of course, the Duchess missed one key ingredient to the ultimate enjoyment, a glass of Prosecco, which they offer as an option to guests enjoying this most British of traditions.

At Dunkeld House Hotel, they are all about creating an experience for guests. They believe that a good selection of drinks and delicious food is all part of ensuring our customers have a memorable stay with us. Back when the Duke of Atholl lived on the estate, he was inspired by the fresh ingredients harvested and hunted from the fields and river around Dunkeld House. To help keep this tradition, they have created The Kitchen Garden.
Lisa is their wonderful herb and vegetable gardener, and she has been planting, experimenting, and unearthing all the wonders of what the garden can offer. Lisa is Herbalist trained at the world-renowned Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh, passionate about sustainable and wildlife-friendly methods. With raised vegetable beds and a polytunnel filled with fresh produce and newly planted apple trees, Lisa has been working hard to help serve fresh seasonal fare menus led by what is growing in the gardens.
