History of the hotel
As one of the longest-standing hotels in the Scottish Highlands, the history of the Dunalastair Hotel Suites is in many ways the very history of Kinloch Rannoch itself.
Dating back all the way to the late 1700s, this ancient and historic venue has stood at the heart of one of Scotland's most picturesque regions for over 200 years, during which it has grown and developed to meet the ever-evolving landscape which surrounds it.
Their canvas was an old Highland sporting lodge, a Victorian gem first converted into a hotel in the 1860s. Several million pounds and a lot of love later, Dunalastair Hotel was born – a retreat that melds modernity with a subtle sense of history. It's a history interweaved with that of Kinloch Rannoch itself, the Highland village they call home.
Dogs Policy
Dogs are welcome in selected Superior Double Suites, Junior Suites and Highland Suites. Dogs are charged at £50 per dog per stay. Please contact us if a dog friendly room is required.
