On arrival the staff were lovely, there are no lifts but we were offered for our luggage to be taken upstairs. In the bedroom we had a lovely bottle of sparkling wine and a little dessert to share. For what we paid for each night I thought we would have got this every day but we didn't. The pillows and bed was not as comfortable as we would have expected. The shower was not very clean, again for a luxury stay we were disappointed in this. However we did enjoy our stay as it was the first time we had been away for a few years after having looked after my mum who passed away last year.

Anon, stayed: August 2026 This is our 4th visit to Down Hall. We were upgraded to a prestige room which was lovely. It was very hot weather and the room was very warm but we did have 2 fans. Overall ,a lovely experience, food ,drink ,service ,particularly Nicholas in the restaurant !We love staying here and will come again!

JW, Surrey, stayed: August 2026 Really enjoyed our stay here. Grounds very extensive. Hotel really great. Food and drink good especially those from the bar and breakfast. Service was slow sat outside - kept having to chase down drinks as were others.
